Typing/Transcription Services Available
Medical Transcription – from £18 per hour
As an AMSPAR trained Medical PA with over 34 years’ experience within a wide range of medical specialties this is a very useful service to have, allowing a smoothly run medical practice. Whether you need assistance with the typing of medical reports on a permanent basis or to cover annual leave or sickness. I aim to provide a timely and efficient turnaround time on transcription, which is charged by the hour or half hour as applicable.
General Document Transcription/Production – from £15 per hour
I have, over the years, undertaken a wide range of transcription/typing on all manner of topics including research projects, inventory reports and building surveys to name but a few. I am available for all your typing needs and willing to undertake small or large tasks either on a permanent or ad-hoc basis.
Copy Typing - £13.50 per hour
If you have paperwork that need to be turned into workable digital text, I can help with that too! Copy typing may be less used in the modern world, but being of a certain age I have certainly done it a time or two in the past!
Additional Services
Proof Reading/Correction of Speech to Text Dictation - £13.50 per hour
With a keen eye to detail and ability to spot errors and glitches, I can offer a proof-reading service for a variety of documents. In the digital era many individuals prefer to use a speech-to-text programme but in my experience, these are not always entirely what they are cracked up to be!!! Some examples have been “his lunch was X-rayed” instead of his “lungs were X-rayed” and “can you lay” instead of “canula!”! It is obviously important to have reports and letters, (particularly medical ones), sent out correctly, so even if you feel speech-to-text works for you - I can help ensure it has behaved as it should!
Internet Research - £14 per hour
Whether you are working on a project, a book, a TV show – the possibilities are endless – if you need some research into any subject matter at all, but just don’t have the time to undertake it (sometimes it can be like trying to find that proverbial needle!!) I can do this for you and provide you with a concise report of my findings.
Concierge Services - £13.50 per hour
Having worked as a PA for many years, I am familiar with making all manner of bookings and arrangements – from sourcing and booking conference and meeting venues, to travel arrangements, finding suitable accommodation and restaurants, looking in to local events and any other services you may need, but just do not have the time to arrange. I can do the “leg work” so you don’t have to.
